Peter Crowley joined MTS Health Partners in 2011 as an Operating Partner. Additionally, since April 2008, Peter Crowley has been an operating partner at JH Partners, a private equity firm managing close to $1bn of institutional funds. Mr. Crowley has been involved with JH for over ten years as a both a director of portfolio companies and an investor. JH Partners currently owns over twenty companies in the consumer and luxury goods sectors. Since April 2011, Mr. Crowley retired from CIBC World Markets in April of 2008. Mr. Crowley spent 23 years at CIBC World Markets, the last fourteen as global head of healthcare investment banking. As global head of healthcare Mr. Crowley was involved in over five hundred transactions and over $30 billion of capital raised and transactions consummated. Transactions include public and private equity and debt financing’s and mergers and acquisitions transactions for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical devices, healthcare services and healthcare technology companies. Mr. Crowley was also heavily involved with the healthcare principal investments made by CIBC Capital Partners. Prior to CIBC Mr. Crowley worked for Allen & Company in venture capital and Blyth Eastman Paine Webber in mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Crowley is a board member of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. He is also on the board of the following private companies: Anabios, Celerion, Medical Knowledge Group, Ouidad and Woodbury Health Products and is the Chairman of the public company Progenics Pharmaceuticals. He is a committee member of the Harvard Alumni Association and member of the council of Rockefeller University.

Mr. Crowley graduated from Harvard College in 1981 and received an MBA from Columbia University in 1985.

Peter J. Vitulli

Peter Vitulli most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of DNA Diagnostics Center (DDC), a former portfolio company of MTS. DDC is the one of the world’s largest DNA testing companies and the largest global relationship-testing firm.

Mr. Vitulli has 38 years of experience within the consumer products and healthcare industries in both a large corporation and entrepreneurial companies. Prior to DDC, he served as the President and CEO of Sciona, Inc., a pioneering Personal Genetics company that provided customized health and wellness solutions. Before Sciona, Peter was the President and CEO of Amerifit Nutrition, Inc., a nutritional supplement company focused on women’s health. Before that he served as the President and CEO of Everfresh Beverages, a private equity backed juice drink company. He spent the first 16 years of his career at the Quaker Oats Company, most recently as President of the North American Gatorade Business, one of the premier functional food products in the world. During his tenure at Quaker, he worked in several divisions including a two-year tenure in Quaker’s United Kingdom subsidiary. Mr. Vitulli received his Bachelor’s Degree from Holy Cross College and an MBA from New York University. He currently serves on the Boards of DDC, PanTheryx, Inc. and as Chairman of Woodbury Health Products and Ovation Fertility.

Dr. Matthew W. Brubaker

Dr. Matt Brubaker is Chief Executive Officer of FMG Leading, an advisory firm that creates organizational transformation by developing leader, team, and culture performance. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of human capital, with a particular expertise in health care and private equity executive leadership development, conflict resolution, pre-acquisition organizational assessment, and post-acquisition culture integration and strategy design. His client list includes a broad range of industry-leading organizations, including The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Center for Disease Control, Deloitte, CNN, TeamHealth, Massachusetts General Hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center, Turner Broadcasting System, Alliance HealthCare Services, BristolMyers Squibb, Chevron, DaVita, Janus, and Microsoft. Dr. Brubaker earned his Master of Arts degree in Dispute Resolution at the University of Massachusetts, and his Doctor of Education in Organizational Change (Ed.D.) degree from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. He currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his family.

David R. Gibson

David Gibson has over 30 years of executive management, private equity, professional services and board experience. Mr. Gibson has been working with MTS since 2002 and as an Operating Partner since 2010. His work with MTS portfolio companies has been in a variety of different areas, ranging from operational and financial improvement, strategic advisory, executive management, board member and transaction preparation and execution. Previously, Mr. Gibson spent nine years with Gibson & Rechan, LLC, an interim management and restructuring advisory firm he co-founded. Prior to that, he spent eleven years with Alvarez & Marsal, Inc. where he was a Managing Director and provided executive management and company advisory services. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Company where he was a Manager and CPA and provided M&A due diligence and audit services. He graduated from New York University with a Masters of Arts in Economics and the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

William S. Goldberg

William Goldberg serves as Chairman of DNA Diagnostics Center and is the CEO of MediMedia, a provider of patient education and consumer health information, outsourced pharmaceutical sales and marketing support services and comprehensive health management programs. Prior to joining MediMedia, Bill was CEO of Planet Pharmaceuticals, a manufacturer and developer of allergy immunotherapy drugs and multi-channel marketer of related products. Previously, he was President of Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals, a manufacturer of liquid generic pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining that company, Bill held senior management and board positions at Lifecare Holdings, an operator of long term acute care hospitals, and TransHealthcare, an operator of skilled nursing facilities. Earlier in his career, Bill worked with a private equity fund focused on buying, repairing and building underperforming businesses. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Tommy G. Thompson currently is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Thompson Holdings, and former United States Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary and four-term Governor of Wisconsin. Following his term in public office, he built, and continues to build with his work at Thompson Holdings, on his efforts as HHS Secretary and Governor to develop innovative solutions to the health care challenges facing American families, businesses, communities, states and the nation as a whole. These efforts focus on improving the use of information technology in hospitals, clinics and doctors’ offices; promoting healthier lifestyles; strengthening and modernizing Medicare and Medicaid; and expanding the use of medical diplomacy around the world. From 2005 until 2009, Governor Thompson served as a senior advisor at the consulting firm Deloitte LLP and was the founding independent chairman of the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions, which researches and develops solutions to some of our nation’s most pressing health care and public health related challenges. From 2005 to early 2012, Governor Thompson served as a senior partner at the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, & Feld LLP. Governor Thompson served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Logistics Health, Inc. from January 2011 to May 2011, and served as President from February 2005 to January 2011. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the following public companies: Physicians Realty Trust and TherapeuticsMD, Inc., each as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Centene Corporation, C.R. Bard, Inc., Cytori Therapeutics, Inc. and United Therapeutics Corporation.
